To access the full range of features and benefits within the Dronetag ecosystem, users are required to subscribe to one of our carefully crafted plans. These plans are designed to cater to various needs and usage scenarios, providing flexibility and scalability for both individual drone enthusiasts and enterprises.
When do I need a subscription?
A Dronetag subscription is necessary when you want to use network and cloud features. For our Network Remote ID devices, it is similar to how mobile phones require a subscription for network services. The subscription fee covers network connectivity and cloud platform hosting costs. It also supports the development of new features and updates, enhancing your user experience. Essentially, your subscription not only maintains your device's connectivity but also contributes to its continuous improvement.
Using Dronetag without a subscription
While a Dronetag subscription significantly enhances your experience, it's important to note that our products can also be used without a subscription. We understand the value of flexibility and choice for our customers, and we want to reassure you that a subscription is not mandatory to use our devices.
You have the freedom to cancel your subscription at any time and continue to use your Dronetag devices without any subscriptions. We are not in the business of locking our users into perpetual payments just to use their devices. The subscription is not tied to the hardware, and your device will continue to function without it.
However, it's important to be aware that without a subscription, you may not be able to use the full potential of your devices. For instance, the Dronetag Mini will be severely limited as the whole network connectivity will be unavailable. For other products, you may miss out on the convenience of storing your flight history on the cloud and accessing your flight logs from different devices.
If you decide to not utilize the enhanced subscription plans with Dronetag Mini,
you need to turn off Network Remote ID off in Device Configuration

When you purchase Dronetag Mini, you will receive 2 months of our Basic Plan for free. This is a fantastic opportunity for you to experience our cloud features before deciding to activate a subscription. The free 2-month Basic Plan allows you to utilize our cloud services for an amount of time without any additional costs. This way, you can fully understand the benefits and convenience of our cloud features before making a commitment.
After the 2-month period, you can choose to continue with the Basic Plan or select from our other subscription options based on your needs. Rest assured, if you decide not to continue with a subscription after your free 2-month Basic Plan trial, as long as you haven't added any payment method to your account, you don't need to take any action. The subscription will be cancelled automatically once the trial period ends. Your action is only required if you decide to continue using the cloud features beyond the trial period.
