Notification Settings

The Web and Mobile app allow you to receive notifications about your flight, airspace alerts and device events. In app notification can be seen on the dashboard and in-flight overview. However, when app is turned off, you still receive mobile and web push notifications so you don’t have to worry about missing important information. To configure your notification settings, please go to Profile -> Notification Settings. By default, your notifications are turned on.

Notification Categories Explained

So far, three categories of notifications are present: device, geofencing, proximity. Besides turning the notifications off all together, you can selectively set up notifications from each category.

Every notification has its trigger event (condition/threshold) which ensures that it appears. You can either select to show the notification only one time when a particular threshold is crossed with Once setting, or you can set the Continuous mode and the threshold will be checked every 1 minute.

Notification Trigger Events

  • Critical Battery - triggered when your device battery is below 3.5V (25%).
  • Geofencing Region - triggered when your aircraft leaves the horizontal boundary of your flight plan.
  • Geofencing Altitude - triggered when your aircraft leaves the vertical boundary of your flight plan.
  • Geofencing Invasion - triggered when another aircraft crosses the boundary of your flight plan.
  • Geofencing Violation - triggered when your aircraft crosses the boundary of someone else’s flight plan.
  • Proximity Alert - triggered when your aircraft is closer than 500 meters to another aircraft.
