Maintenance

You should closely inspect the device once in a while for potential cracks or other defects. Such issues can affect the device's reliability and can lead to possible injury. Contact us if you are unsure about the state of your device.

Device cleaning & connector care​

Regular inspection and gentle cleaning keep your RIDER in good condition. Always handle connectors with care to avoid damage.

USB-C connector​

  • Inspect the USB-C port for dust or dirt.
  • Clean gently using compressed air.
  • Avoid liquids and sharp objects.

Device surface​

  • Wipe the enclosure to remove dust or mud with a soft, dry cloth.

Chemicals & labels​

  • Do not use solvents (ethanol, IPA, acetone, etc.) on the housing or label.
  • These chemicals may damage the enclosure or make the serial number label unreadable.
  • If cleaning is necessary, use only a slightly damp microfiber cloth with clean water.
